VITAL BUTINAR

Vital came by the idea for the story of The Digits back in 2017 after watching a
documentary on the Discovery channel that talked about that there are more
possibilities that reality might be a simulation than not.

With a desire to produce and direct a thriller feature film he slowly created the story
of The Digits based on the confusing experiences that every person has to deal with
in one point of their life, like meeting the same person over and over again, or
looking at the clock every day at the same time, the feeling of deja vu and having
the feeling of precognition of events and how all this coupled with the theory of
reality not existing being a possibility could drive a person crazy in these
unfortunate circumstances.

Meanwhile writing the story of The Digits, Vital worked on many different film type projects like music videos with a
story and short films together with Leya presenting a unique storytelling vision.

With his background originating from the field of dance, working with people as a dance instructor, performer and a
choreographer is nothing new, but it has also given him a unique perspective in storytelling. Since he is always
comparing a film production to a dance choreography with the end goal to sell a great story to the viewer well and
working on a film like it was a choreography with people enables him to get everyone on the same page with the
same vision and show the story in an even better way.

Working together with his already well assembled team gives him an even better advantage to craft a good story.
With their already existing team dynamic they are together able to inspire others to work well within their own team

IZA KOKORAVEC

Iza has been a part of the production team working closely with Vital and Leya from their beginnings and as a result fits into the team dynamic perfectly. Her interest in the field of fictional storytelling resulted in her being a valuable asset in the team’s productions where she worked in many different roles within the production team before finally finding herself in a very successful organizational capacity and as an excellent art director, as well a producer on the last short film that they had done.

Being well acquainted with the story of The Digits from the very beginning she has contributed many aspects that have proven to significantly improve the story as a whole.

With her background being in law enforcement her attention to detail makes her an unbelievably valuable part of the team and excellent script consultant

D.P. / Cinematographer / Producer

LEYA MARINCIC

Leya's unique look through the camera has been developed through working as a cinematographer on many film type projects such as short narrative films and music videos with complex storytelling, but her biggest asset lies in being an artist and a sculptress, where being able to view a scene as an artist who deals with spatial three dimensional object and not only a two dimensional image as cinematographer is certainly an huge asset. Also being a photographer for many years has given Leya the additional knowledge needed to craft a successful film like look through the camera lens.

Working together on many different film type projects with Vital has given them an extraordinarily successful and efficient team dynamic and together with the director they have developed a deeper understanding of each other’s visions and views resulting in an amazingly fast and adaptive workflow.

Also Leya has been a crucial part of the development of the story for The Digits from the beginning since she has counseled Vital with many aspects of the story and has also created a lot of the development stage artwork such as storyboards and concept posters.
